Instructions

To accurately respond to these calls for comments, you must have the applicable reference document readily available (linked below – one for each policy). Please review the reference document and provide comments using the corresponding survey. Please note that the confidentiality of individual survey responses will be maintained; the results of the survey will be presented for COA review in aggregate.

All feedback will be thoroughly reviewed and carefully considered by the COA in finalizing the proposed policy/revisions. We thank you in advance for taking the time to provide this valuable information. 

1. Revisions to ‘Complaints Initiated Against the Council’ Policy

At its May 2025 meeting, the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) reviewed revisions to the “Complaints Initiated Against the Council” policy proposed by the COA’s Standards and Policies Committee. Following review of the results of the call for comments survey, the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) reviewed additional revisions at its January 2026 meeting.

2. Revisions to ‘Application for Increasing Class Size’ Policy

At its January 2026 meeting, the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) reviewed revisions to the “Application for Increasing Class Size” policy proposed by the COA’s Evaluation and Analysis Committee and Standards and Policies Committee.

3. New ‘Arbitration’ Policy

At its April 2026 meeting, the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) approved a new Arbitration Policy developed by the COA’s Standards and Policies Committee.
