The COA has no involvement of any kind in the US News Rankings of nurse anesthesia programs. While the COA is aware that some universities and the public may place importance on the US News rankings, the COA does not promote the rankings or consider them in any accreditation-related decisions. The mission of the COA is to ensure that all programs meet the Standards for Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs which verifies that all accredited programs provide a high quality educational experience to their students/residents.
